Eva Carneiro leaves Chelsea

Fearn didn't do anything wrong. He didn't argue back and has kept a low profile since. Mourinho will allow him back on to the bench because he's stayed loyal and hasn't questioned his authority.

Surely you must realize that's how it works.

Last season Distin probably had a point with Martinez but it didn't stop Martinez from making him train with the U21s and only reluctantly allowing him to play a few mins in his last game. Football managers don't tolerate insubordination. It doesn't matter if they are right or wrong. It's their way or the highway.

Carneiro didn't argue back, all she did was thank people who had been giving her support in an astonishingly bland statement and has kept a low profile since then. That he (and you, for that matter) think that means she is disloyal says everything about him.

Watch the video at the time. You can clearly see she was arguing back. The guy just looked down and took it.

Right there is the reason why I think he didn't let it go. This probably isn't the first time she has questioned him which he wouldn't like and in a way I think he wanted to prove to her using the media as a courtroom that he was right and she was wrong.

It backfired horribly.

She was probably pointing out that the referee had beckoned her on, rather than arguing the toss with him.
