You're a massive sexist mate.
Why is she in the wrong and mourinho in the right.
I don't see you having a go at the other male physio

I think you are the massive sexist if I'm being honest. You are just a white knight looking to ride in to save her.

If you weren't then you would be able to see the difference between the two cases. The male physio neither answered back (which isn't the main issue) or went on Facebook afterwards thanking members of the public for calling Mourinho a bully.

Also the thread was about the female doctor not the male physio.

And yet who is also still suspended from his job...

Big woop mate. Both those medical professionals did the right thing. They did not deserve to be criticised.

I think you should read what she actually wrote in her facebook post.
“thank the general public for their overwhelming support it was really very much appreciated”.

Where in that exactly does it criticise Jose or his methods.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/aug/12/eva-carneiro-chelsea-doctor-facebook-jose-mourinho

"The messages of support to which she referred, essentially, ran along the lines of people urging her to stay strong against Mourinho’s bullying. For her to acknowledge them, in such a public way, went down predictably badly with Mourinho."

"He demands total loyalty and privacy from his inner circle and it has long been clear at Chelsea that members of the backroom staff are to be seen and not heard. Only Mourinho – or, sometimes, his assistants – the directors and players ever speak in public while the club has clear guidelines on the use of social media.

Employees can have Facebook and Twitter accounts but they must not, for example, post criticisms of the club or the game’s governing bodies. Carneiro’s Facebook post did not transgress the guidelines and yet it succeeded in crossing a line with Mourinho."

Mourinho has to treat them both the same because to do otherwise would now open him up to accusations of sexism.

He said that their demotion was temporary. It's only after she went on Facebook that he has made it permanent.
No it doesn't, he could use exactly the argument that you have been using - that she is being suspended because of her Facebook post rather than her treatment of Hazard

But that would land him in further hot water as her post did not break company guidelines, so would be another item to add to his rap sheet. You have even helpfully pointed out that her post does not break the guidelines!

Why were they demoted? What rationale is there for that. They have 100% done things the right way.
Mourinho is in the wrong.
As a sideline medical professional your first role is to ensure player safety. They've done that according to the laws of the game. What the manager thinks shouldn't even come into play with regards to player welfare. What If that was Fabrice Muamba out there?
The laws are there for a reason, to protect the players.

He could but that's not an argument he wants to get into which was my point originally.

This case will set back equality because it has shown that a male manager can't discipline a female member of staff without running the risk of being accused of sexism and having the whole thing being blown up by a sexist media and public that feels the need to overprotect women.

There is a reason why it is Jose who is being sued and not Eva...
Is she suing him? Im glad to hear it
He should have lost his job over interfering in a patient safety/health and safety issue.
Anything that would prevent a health care professional, even notionally, in caring for their patients must be a dismissable offence
The gender issue is moot

There is a wider issue that football does have to look at which is the conflict of interests that can occur between medical professionals who are employed by the club and the need for the club to win football matches.

There's a joke about Oscar in there somewhere.

I'd give her a good BAFTA though hahahahaha.

I'm sure I've read that the ref asked the player if he needed the dr/physio he replied in the positve and that is why they were waived onto the field of play. Were they doing their jobs I guess so should Jose have criticised them publically I guess not. It all could have been handled in a more professional manner.
Is there a case for discrmination only if you see her as a woman and not a colleague.
