Well I'm hardly going to support your position - am I? And the point is you've mentioned Scott Dann.

I've mentioned half a dozen young Everton players all of which are in their respective age international setups.

That speaks volumes.

And like I said. Watch the Hong Kong businessman like a Hawk. You've been warned.

i had not heard of most of those names you said mush so it means nothin for now. hopefully they will turn into good playes for you but stats say they prob woint.

i take it that you are good friends with mr yeung that can comment on his business morals?? i see you did not mention mocking my dyslexia too.

last time i spent some time on hear i was aware of a lot of your own fans wanting him mush. what has changed?

Nothing. I rate him. I'm just saying that we can't afford him, but what we do isn't worse. We make up for the lack of cash with smart investment, and youth. When these new rules come into play, our way will look a lot better.

EDIT: WHAT? £20 mil for N Zogbia?!?!? I thought it was 10?

Wow...

The £20million asking price. We're not daft.

And know that spending £20million of OUR money on a player who we could get a younger alternative would mean that we can spend money on other players as well....

Putting all your eggs in one basket after all.

How can you comment on our youth players, when you know nothing about them? Stats? The stats say that we have one of the best youth systems in the country, and the best English player in a generation came from us -- not from Birmingham. In fact, the only good thing I can think of, to come out of Birmingham in the past 20 years is Cat Deeley.

now i see its about wanting but not bein able to aford him?? so your youth advantege is balanced by our money advantege. like i was saying my man.

Dyslexia is no excuse for your poor grammar and syntax, though. That's just laziness.

Good to you Back BPB!!!

Id have the Zog all day long a terriffic player.

Id go for Jerome myself the big man up front is about to go back out of vougue and along with the Coles, Zamora and Heskeys of this world.

I think its fair to say Brum are were we were 5 years ago, playing the percentages, to be fair to McCelish hes picked up some good talent in the squad withis eye, Johnson, Dann, Fahey and Gardener are all good Prem players plucked from obscurity. He did an amazing job last year in his first season back in the Prem and they were really tough games against Brum. He played the percentages, men behind the ball and what not just as we did when Moyes first came and before he buikt the squad - it would be hypocritcal of us to be criticise. Lets not forget its taken us the best part of a decade to get to the point of bringing youth through consistently.

A word of caution on the finances though mate, Gold and Sullivan left a sinking ship the books last year were prob one of the worst in any league. Your only hope is this Yeung guy, and i am very suspicious of him, id be paying close attention to the books this year to see if the money has been been borrowed on Brum City or given by Yeung. I have a bad feeling this cat is going to banckrupt your club. Like i say last year your books where one of the worst in the whole football league, propl next to Pompey and buissness is unsustaniable without outside investment if indeed thats what Yeaung is - youl prob know more then us though.

Whats the deal with the young Spaniard you both in Jan mate Michael will he get games??

Why would I mock anyone's dyslexia.

Well my Brum friend - I'm taking into account the Stats in mentioning Bidwell. Baxter. Barkley. Hope. Garbutt

They're what we consider "the cream of the crop" over the next two/three seasons.

One or two might drop off but that's the spine of what we consider will come through to be top top professionals.

Others might make an appearance too not in that list.

But we're realistic in these things. And know that spending £30 million every summer is not realistic. Whereas having patience and bringing players through year in year out is.

And we can look at the next "N'zogbia" and get him at way way way lower than that £20million asking price and do some work with him...

Thats how Everton operate. School of Science mate.

But it isn't. Our strengths outweigh yours.

Sure, your finances blitz ours, but then so do bloody Hull's.

Our other strengths are something you can't match yet. Good luck to you though. I respect your club and your manager, and what they did last season. Use the finances wisely, don't do a pompey, and you could establish yourself as a major team. Right now however, there is a big 8 in the league, and you are not part of it.
