I just had to check who was in goal for them despite watching the game. Can't remember Szczesny getting involved at all.
 
You know you just want to see a little bit of confidence on the ball, a bit of "ok, make the pass, now let's move". The good old days with Yak and co playing it round the corner for a midfield runner, you know what I'm saying lads?
 

First 10 minutes we were crap pure utter crap. After that we played well.... Freaking disallowed goal was a shame.
 
Another game, another painful watch.

On the plus side I now know every song for every team that has visited Goodison this season, worst home fans in the league vocally, embarrassing.
 
I think Moyes was right to switch Cahill and Felli but then he should of taken Cahill off along with Osman much sooner. I can't believe Drenthe was taken off, he was looking dangerous and didn't look the least bit tired. I'm starting think Pienaar should play CM when Drenthe is on because our attack because almost exclusively on the left side when Pienaar and Baines are playing together. Not that it is a terrible thing (I'm glad we now have a threatening side) but Drenthe can a lot to the attack when he is involved. I thought Jelavic had a bad game and looked like he dived a few times, not cool. I felt that Moyes made the right decisions with the subs except they should have come on way earlier, especially Strac.

I think it's a problem when Felli and Cahill have to switch 'cause it means Cahill is not doing his job. Yeah Felli can play more advanced but Cahill can't play deeper. Same with Osman. Right now Cahill's biggest asset is his defensive side which has been pretty decent lately but that's not what the team needs right now. :/

I thought that was a terrible performance by the linesman, to get that many decisions wrong in one game?! The guy needs to get his eyes checked.

I think toothless is the perfect word to describe Everton tonight.
 

Linesman ****ed us over tonight, but Moyes ****ed our season over with that MADNESS last week. Sick of him playing us down all the time, we beat City and Spurs by defending and having 30 per cent possession so its OK to go to Wigan and play **** afterwards, then of course that disgrace after Spurs, 3000 Evertonians paying 50 quid for that **** - not only that but he DEFENDS it by saying he had to prioritise? YOU ****ING MAD? If he had learnt anything in his 10 years as manager its to NOT play down and UNDERESTIMATE the importance of a Merseyside ****ing derby ffs! And to top it all off we didn't even win the quarter final and to be honest I'm not looking forward to going to Sunderland to play for pens, sure as **** that will backfire too. Also fed up of his TERRIBLE TACTICS and SHOCKING SUBSTITIONS game in, game out. We play the worst hoofball in the league and thats a fact, we are shocking to watch. We have the players to play more adventurous football. Why won't he drop his favourites if they aren't performing? Why isnt Ross Barkley anywhere near the squad? Swansea on Saturday, we're gonna be totally outplayed and it's gonna be grim to watch but maybe we can force a few corners and get Baines to the by line to aim for Fellaini... SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW.

I'm no Moyes fanboy but he set us out with the ability to win that tonight, with a bit of luck and our players not being bels it might have happened.

This all day. FFS lads some of this rubbish spouted tonight about Moyes is getting out of hand, he'll be responsible for Kony's army next.
He's really messed up lately, but tonight didn't feel like it.
 
to put it into perspective the first 15 mins or so was some of the best passing playing by a team, they were awesome, barcelona-esc. and the team did well to only concede one. manager switched tactics and bam arsenal looked ordinary. thats no mean feat you know. we had a perfectly good goal disallowed so we could have at least drawn against a VERY good in form Arsenal.
