All missing today.

Great result, awful game.

Fellaini is better than Messi.

Thought we played really well in the first half but kind sat back in the second, safe in the knowledge we were through.

Drenthe was easily man of the match, he was awesome. Fully deserves a place in the starting line up next week. Made up to see Stracq score again, too.

Entertaining game, chances at both ends. Although I am a bit worried about how many chances we failed to convert. We needed to be more clinical, especially Felli. He had a good game playing further up but his lack of finishing only proves that he shouldn't be playing high up on the pitch. If he had gotten one goal he would've been MOtM easily. He contributes the most at DM.

Drenthe for MOtM with shout outs to Felli, Strac, Howard, and Gueye. Gueye had a great game but he kills Baines' attacking threat, although he did start to cut more into the middle later on in the game. Strac created quite a few chances along with getting a few shots off. Felli looks so effortless, he keeps the ball when he is under pressure from all sides. Classy player. I think that's why he didn't get a goal, he looks to control a ball first time rather than smash it towards the net. Howard had a fantastic game and kept his concentration.

I'm really happy for Drenthe, had a wonderful finish and created so much. He was superb on the right but he also did more than well on the left. We've got to sign Strac and Drenthe up.

Looks like Arsenal are out, they were the only team I was worried about. Wembley is ours!

great win Drenthe my MOTH as was Fellaini great we have a good squad don't mind who we get next
we are on a roll and long may it go on. just back in from the pub game was live on TV over here
had a nice few pints its great wearing the royal blue jersey theses days

also nice to see Ross Barkley on the pitch, as well as big Duncan Ferguson and Rooney back at home
any chance he will come home soon.........................

No idea how we didn't score 6 or 7. Never mind only 2. And we might have had a horrid last few minutes if not for a super Howard save and a skied pen (which to be fair was never, ever a pen).

Gueye impressed first half, Drenthe was MOTM, Fellaini did well up front in that he won the ball in the air and flicked it on effectively, but he lacks any kind of clinical finishing. Hopefully he'll be back in the centre next game.

Baines was decent, the defence was okay, Neville wasn't great (lots of fouls) and Gibson wasn't too much better (quiet but fairly effective). Stracq did well to react quickly for the second and his link-up play was good.

Subs-wise, Coleman didn't do too much in his time on the pitch and Barkley/Vellios only got a handful of minutes.

Almost 100% right with ^^^ this mate. Thought Seamus did well when he came on though and was more of a direct threat than Gueye.

Would it be too much to hope for Brighton at home in the quarter finals ?
