I've read some of the reviews about yesterday and no one seems to be mentioning Bily. He got a kick early on and didn't seem interested after that. In fact I'm sure Moyse was telling him to suck it up and get on with it at one point. I'm not a Bily hater but I can't really say what he brings to the team yet. Perhaps one of you wise old sages can enlighten me.
Another player/position I'm concerned about is Baines and left back. He had a crap 1st half but I put that down to Bily not pulling his weight.

My starting line up for Wednesday would be

Howard

Neville
Distin
Heitinga
Baines

Donovan
Fellaini
Osman
Pienaar

Vaughan
Saha

Leaving Cahill and Bily on the bench. I did consider Coleman to start and Neville in midfield but feel we need a bit more experience there at the moment.

mate's brother who thought that shaving his head and trying to add a slight Polish twang to his accent would deter the burly bailiffs from taking his prized plasma TV. I'm not sure Pro Evo looks too good on his ma's cast off Ferguson TV these days.

:lol::lol::lol:

I thought we played well in the main on Saturday. On another day Vaughans effort goes in instead of just over, He leaves a header to fall to Donovan who taps in, Saha's in off the post instead of out off the post, has another attept that sneaks in to top bin instead of just wide, also wins a penalty and Fellaini gets a hat-trick. I thought we were unlucky as Howard didnt seem to have a great deal to do, especially in the second half.

Poor defending for the first goal uncharacteristically by the ball watching Neville and just a brilliant piece of play for the second. But they were not better than us. I thought we played some rellay good stuff, the goal was great football.

Then theres the bonus of the little genius coming back and immediately picking up where he left off, running the show in the middle.

Me not worried - this should be easy pickings.

Agreed 100 %. Cahill playing is a weak point when there are more goal scoring players atm than him. I'd play osman for Cahill in that 5 man midfield not because of the headers but the good close control and long range goal threat

That team has amples of attacking threat and skill, good mixture of speed and technique. We're at home so we should be going at em.

Plus points are....if its not going our way...we'd Cahill, Ossie, and Arteta on the bench to make a chance.

Logical to moi.(y)

Oooooooooooooo is this thread gonna be full of people saying we are gonna give them a hiding.

Just like the Birmingham thread :(

All depends what team turn up really. If its the team from yesterday Bent and Jones will have a field day. If its the team from last Sat we should win.

Won't be easy but we should be too strong for them if we turn up.

We will win if we can score more goals than we concede.

Definatly no spanking going on though.

DBRAG...........I seldom say we are going to hammer anyone, I certainly told all to respect Brum as they will be a hard test...................Sunderland are [Poor language removed] so we will hammer them

----------Howard
Coleman Heit Senderos Baines
Bily Felli Osman Pienaar
------------Donovan
------------Saha

would love to see something like this cahill could use some rest imo

Can't wait for wednesday night i'm taking a couple of my mate who are sunderland fans! we should be beating them on current form. they have only picked up 1 point in 9. They are stuggling!

I went to the sunderland game on boxing day too where we battered them and should have beaten them easily really. We just need to keep a eye on bent and jones they're nowt without them. Jonny will have them 2 sussed.

I would like to see this team.

Howard

Neville Heitinga Distin Baines

Fellaini

Donovan Osman Cahill Pienaar

Saha

Arteta for the last 30 mins just to bring a smile to my face and to slam a 30 yard free kick in, Also bring billy on later for a run he needs a rest!

Everton 2 - 1 Sunderland

.......................howard..................
neville........heitinga....senderos......baines

......................fellaini...........................

donovan..............arteta...............pienaar

...................vaughan...saha..................

subs: osman,nash,billy,baxter,distin,cahill,coleman

This way we always have better options to change the game!(y)

I wouldn't been keen on seeing Arteta start, he's going to need time and 20-30 minutes from the bench is the best way to go at the moment. We don't want him breaking down again, he's going to be a key figure in the second half of the season.
