nope...

I'm confused. People used Pickfords £30mil price to bash the deal even though it was including add ons yet according to that logic we are indeed getting 90mil for rom but people are saying it's only 75. People on here make my head hurt. At the end of the day the deal totals to a world record fee and we are getting a player our manager wants.

The key is the word 'potential' record fee. If Pickford, Lukaku or the respective clubs never hit the targets, then the fee isnt paid. For instance, Martial has a €10mill clause if he plays in 25 competitive matches for France while at Utd. He also has a €10mill clause if he gets a Ballon D'or nomination. He may not do either so Utd dont pay.

Its one thing wanting to keep them Dave but when they publicly announce that staying is not an option then what are Everton to do? Cut our nose off and keep him against his will? Let him rot in the reserves? Play him for the year whilst he sulks? They are doing the only thing they can, selling at a great price and reinvesting the money into new players to make the overall squad stronger. It would be a different matter if we didn't sign anyone but even you can see that the money is being reinvested with a great chance of more being spent...
That's all it is: recycling. It's what we do. If Moshiri and his spinners would just STFU with their spin about things changing in the transfer market for us and concentrated on getting a stadium built it wouldn't be such an issue.

It's now time for anyone arguing that real change and a new financial model is in play to put that fantasy away and start getting real.

People think they can see but they be blind.

United will spin it as 75m minus 10m for Rooney and Everton will spin it as 100m for Lukaku and Rooney for free.

Either way, we get rid of 1 player for a VAST fee, a very talented player I will add and we replace him for England and Uniteds record goalscorer.

Everton 2k17, getting things done and taking care of bizznezzz.

Of course they are Dave, of course they are.

But that list of players in and out proves the net spend argument is pyar gash. The team looks stronger already, and that's without Rooney and another CF or 2
Looks stronger my arse. We have not been buying top quality, but we are selling that.

Us entering into talks maybe?
Lad the majority of us are not arsed about losing Lukaku. We just wanna pull your clubs keks down again like we did with Fellaini.

When this is all said and done, your club would of spunked in excess of 200 million, in the space of a year on two knobheads who are more interested in trying to be the next PM dawn mate.

Lukaku leaving isn't rattling nobody lad. Now bend over that desk

It does really. We need to see some ambition from the owners. They need to nail any belief that we are still living hand to mouth.

No. They really don't.

Not after committing to build a flashy new stadium and embarking on the biggest and most ambitious spending spree in our history. And don't give me any crap about net spends, because we have not yet spent one penny of the Lukaku money. There will be more incomings.
