Difficult to find time to print booklets when you're sat in on transfer negotiations all daySounds nailed on that doesn't it. Wonder if they are online only or print little a4 10 page booklets and sell them outside Old Trafford for a quid
We need players to plug this large gap.
That's both logical and obviously correct.People blathering on about "net spend"...
Sometimes it can be a useful barometer... but outliers always throw things like that off.
Outliers like pretty much having to sell a player because they've outright stated they're not coming back to the team - when that player goes for £100m (plus the shifting of assorted deadwood who no one would really want around anyway) it becomes rather tricky to have a positive net spend, or certainly a significant one.
The trick in these cases is to look at the overall state of the squad, not just a simple "wahhhhhh, we brought in more money than we spent"

That's very true. That's both logical and obviously correct.
But if you're intent on boring the forum to tears with some tedious agenda, is of no relevance
Dave bringing a knife to the gunfight as always..sigh.People blathering on about "net spend"...

That's all it is: recycling. It's what we do. If Moshiri and his spinners would just STFU with their spin about things changing in the transfer market for us and concentrated on getting a stadium built it wouldn't be such an issue.
It's now time for anyone arguing that real change and a new financial model is in play to put that fantasy away and start getting real.
Sleep tight little princeCollege tomorrow.
Night.
that sort of talk is not on mate, no one should hope for injuries to any player aside from Suarez5. Has never been injured in all his time at Everton, luck must be due to run out soon
ACL anyone?

So looks like it's going onwards and upwards. Would have liked him to stay (and contribute), couldn't care less where he goes now. £75 mill is neither a cheep or low fee. My view a while ago was that would be the ball park. But really it's an obscene amount of money which may only be the minimum. Strange world.Yes, just like United put a United spin on it...
One thing Everton do well is hold out for big fees.
There's no chance we accepted £25m less than our valuation without some serious caveats.
