Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

"Feeder Club"

3 players to Utd in 13 years says we're not playing that role very well.

+ Manager they cherry picked to replace the greatest the game has ever seen - no matter how that turned out...

We've not had many 'elite' players in that time they've wanted.

Annoyingly, they tend to nab the players we wan't to keep, we take the players they wan't rid of.

Was saying yesterday a real mark of progress for Everton/Moshiri will be changing that - we're already doing it.

He's still only 24 - he's got better every year at Everton - every year he's contributed more goals. I think in years to come some fans will cringe at how critical they were of Rom.

Also difficult to know what is a good fee at the moment. We paid £28m for him in 2014 when he hadn't even scored a league goal for his parent club. Just read Liverpool expect to get £30m for Sakho.

If I'm a Man Utd fan, I'd be delighted at the fee. Even if he just does alright, they'll get that back the way transfer fees are going anyway.
Was never a great fan due to his attitude towards the club & consequently the fans , however no doubt he is a top class goal scorer given the opportunities . Does that make him a great player that's down to opinion

Very true, I don't see him fitting Utd style of play, Mourinho likes his players to work hard and run a lot, he no where near Swedish lad who's name I forgot and he was 36. He's not great at holding up the ball or bullying defences. Can see him starting on the bench a few times at Utd.

No doubt he improve as he gets older but for right now for us it was great business.

True, but not many put up much of a fight for Moyes, think most were ready for him to go.

just seen, this, please everton, whatever you do, hold off signing off all the paper for another couple of days, that'd be popcorn gold. i think this is one of the cringiest things ever btw. I bet they did a few takes. Pogba is a gash enough player, but at least he didn't go into acting haha seeing rom act this way has made it a lot easier for me and probably a hell of a lot of blues to accept, the fee has actually made me happy. Well played everton.

Rom always said he knew which club he'd be going too.

I wonder if he really did or that was just a front? If true I wonder if it was Chelsea he felt he was going too, or whether United all along.

Probably never know!

I never really cared mate.

It was tedious, but he was always honest - his press conference when we signed him he spoke of Everton being his next step.

He signed (could have went elsewhere after his loan) and scored loads of goals - more than anyone else in my life time.

He's a bit of a tit, and I reckon the dressing room won't miss him.

He deserves his chance in the Champions League.

We go on, but it's a shame we have a tendency to turn any good player who leaves for a top club a judas.

Thing is, I'm convinced if Lukaku wanted to stay - Koeman/Moshiri would have turned down £150m for him.

No it's not it depends on the visa held by the parents, if only on a temporary visa or just visiting, the child has the same nationality as it's parents
Hence "could" but you can in most circumstances apply for citizenship for the child (not entirely sure this is the case in china as its communist).

Anyway the point is despite heritage you can be born somewhere and accepted as a citizen of that country despite your parents being born in another.
