That's one brilliant gif. I've never seen that. Excellent.

Aye, bad mouthing us would be a different story.
It was a marriage of convenience rather than love but both sides have benefited greatly from the relationship so don't see why there is need for any animosity from either party.
Fwiw I think Koeman looks at Everton in much the same way that Rom did when he first joined.
Good afternoon David, and what a fine, sunny afternoon it is.
I shall be taking a cup of tea to drink in the garden shortly, but first, I shall open the vaults ....
From the Lukaku thread ( https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/romelu-lukaku.77973/ ) in March this year :-
Well, we're getting 75 million up front with a possibility of another 15 million, so you were plainly wrong in March !
For now, I bid you a fond farewell and look forward to reading your blustering response later today.

@MorgsGoat, @COYBL25 - I apologise for bullying him again.
Doubt it. I sense a lot of frustration over the nature of this deal.

Class and respect, what like his manager advising him he'd be a failure if he stayed here?
Totally agree. We just need to ensure we spend wisely now not like Spurs did with the Bale money. We need cover at left back, Leighton can't last forever, and we need a proven premier league striker so we can hit the ground running. Giroud or Vardy would be my choice. Why frustration ?
He wanted to go and probably due to his mate Pogba bending his war, he chose to want to go to Untied in the full knowledge that Chelsea, or at least Conte, were also interested.
We've drawn a massive fee for him plus add-ones and Untied have had to make good a loyalty payment to Wayne Rooney that will see him happy to come back to Everton on a reduced, but still very healthy wage.
With the signings do far and more to come, we'll be an all-round stronger team next season without a primary goalscorer yes, but a team that could and probably will have the same or better total of goals more evenly spread through the squad.
We've won nothing with Lukaku as we won nothing with Lineker, the season after Lineker, we spread the goals around and won the title... Who knows what next season might bring?
And as has been pointed out elsewhere if not on here, Lukaku scored some 87 goals for Everton, the same as the late, great Alex 'Golden Vision' Young, but he will never, ever be remembered with even one millionth of the affection and indeed reverence with which Evertonians hold for Alex Young.
I see no reason for any frustration personally, it was a piece of business that was always likely to happen and we've done rather well out of it.
There's no frustration at all. Not one bit. We've lost a very good player and at many points in the past it'd of been done late (like Arteta, Fellaini, Rooney and so on) and that led to frustration. The club are clearly going to reinforce some more. The overall feeling of Evertonians is optimism/excitement, that's undeniable. Why frustration ?

So he didn't put the effort in last season?
Started 15 games, scored 3 I believe from open play.
Be interesting to see if Everton gives him a new lease of life - he'll need it if he's expected to be an integral part of a side competing for the top four.
...which are?
