not happy tbh, £75m was the bare minimum i'd have accepted i suppose, but i think these "£100m no penny less" statements had made me hopeful we wouldn't go as far down as 75. I just feel we would have been better off keeping him for one more year, getting 25/30 goals out of him and securing CL, whilst selling for just £40m next summer. Only a fee north of £85m would have made me considering selling him now.
But hey, i suppose at least it's a quick resolution and we can get replacements in so we know our full squad before the league season starts and it wouldn't have been worth dragging out for an extra month just for a measly £5m more as may have been the case under the previous regime.
