Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

If we sell Rom for 75 million, having been happy for the media, via Jim White, to report that the asking price was 100 million, then I'd be disappointed. No sensible person would expect us to get our asking price, but a price of 80 million plus is what I would have classed as decent business.

Granted, it's "only" five million difference, but, if it happens at that price, it's not the best bit of business we've ever done.

There shall be add ones on top of £75m up front?

Kenwright said during the Euro's it would take 50 million to buy Rooney, that's why when we got just over half (including add-ons) we weren't best pleased.

Get that... but the market at that time didnt reflect that sort of silly money being available or on offer.

Nearly £30m for a kid at time was damned good money for us.

Wasn't he supposed to be back in for training today or has he been told to stay away till sorted

Whilst we might feel aggrieved at the figure being reported, but definitely not confirmed at the time of going to press despite speculation from the usual rumourmongers in the media, his leaving for pastures new is no big surprise to us

In fact it is something we have known to be inevitable for a while now.

Chelsea are the fans more entitled to be bitchin' bout this.

They thought they had Lukaku in the bag.

By all accounts Conte chucked a wobbly, demanding Chelsea sign him no matter the cost.

And now they face being gazumped by United lol

Not only might they lose out on Rom....the manager might walk.

I am loving it.

75 mil. £ for Lukaku is not enough! CIES estimation of Lukaku value is more than 93 mil. £. under average Moussa Sissoko for 30 mil. £, J. Stones for 47.5 mil.£, VvD probably for 70 mil. £... and 25 goals per season Lukaku just for 75???!

Any replacements suggested so far (excluding Giroud)?, don't think Rooney has it to play up top anymore.

Soo next time BBC, is disclosing a 75mill deal, on the behalf of Everton, perhaps we should hold our horses, (wink - wink GOT) no?
