Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

Judging by what Moshiri has told his idiot sock puppet to report on Sky, you'd have to think that it's simply a case of Everton wanting either the fee to remain officially undisclosed, or for it to be stressed that there are also add-ons.

£75m is an incredible figure. More than what our mates across the park ended up getting for Suarez.
Suarez would have gone for a lot more than 75m three years ago if he hadn't just bitten someone for the third time and was facing a lengthy ban.

So what do we predict? Utd get him and todays news is intact true despite Everton denials. Or its a load of BS and the media have jumped the gun and he still ends up at Chelsea?

Yes and no. The world record fee at the time was 46M paid 3 years earlier. Veron went to Man utd in 2001 for 28 and a bit million.

So for a kid 25 million (the amount we got upfront) looks good but in that Euro's he looked like he would become the best player in the world, obviously being 18 having a whole career ahead of him, the fee was not as much as I hoped and I think many felt the same. 35M would have been probably right.
From what Man United got out of Rooney, the got a bargain. Although we did get decent money at the time.

The Rooney situation has undoubtedly muddied the waters...take that out of the equation and its a straight bidding war...Man U want Morata, Chelsea want Lukaku, - the latter wants to go back to the club he supports....lots of shenanagins going on at the moment

Still feel the Rooney transfer has caused UNT to bolt the media with this which is worrying as we get an hasbeen back, and lose our leading goal scorer for a 1/4 off the price we innitaily wanted is it a way to smooth the Rooney move if somshafted yet again by UNT!
We may have got between 85-95 million of Chelsea!
