I dont and never have. Poor defensivley. Said it for years.
Would that others were similarly predisposed to keeping an open mind.

Well, we can use whatever terminology you like, but none of it masks the fact that we are now forced to play Richarlison in an out and out attacking role that hardly suits him - a non-specialist to fulfil the tasks of that position - we also lose a potent threat out wide left where he should be.
Not poor. Clueless.I dont and never have. Poor defensivley. Said it for years.
But did we have the CMs to play like Silva wants? I was not sure that any of our CMs from last season were up for it - I am pleasantly surprised by Keane stepping up to the challenge, especially after the first few games when we were at sixes and sevens defensively.I get that, we lacked quality in there but we had a lot of CMs, I would have been willing to go until at least January with what we had if we had to but obviously I’m happy we got Gomes. If he keeps going like he has then he’ll be invaluable to us in no time.
The most crucial position on the pitch should have been prioritised in the summer just gone.
What makes you think I hate him?@davek why all the hate for Brands ?.
In the short time he`s been here, he`s done more to sort things out, than all of the previous clowns put together.
No. It's because Silva knows DCL and Tosun are cabbages.Forced to? I'm not entirely sure without going back and looking but we haven't seemed incapable of scoring with him out wide on the left and either DCL or Tosun up front.
Silva has chose to play him down the middle but is that not possibly because he thinks there's a very good striker in there and would like to explore that option rather than a forced move born of desperation with his attacking options?
Could it even be an attempt to find a role for both Richarlison and Bernard in the starting XI? Silva wouldn't be the first manager trying to shoehorn players into a side to the ultimate detriment of both the player and the team.
Of course. The only one you could say so far unreservedly.
Wait until early January at most. We are haemorrhaging points by having a second season on the run with a pop gun attack.Totally disagree with that sentiment.
The most crucial positions which were a priority last summer were CD and LB and an injection of pace. I would prefer to wait and get the RIGHT striker than end up with another Sandro situation (still can't believe the wage he is on).
What makes you think I hate him?
There's a world of difference between hating him and refusing to accept he's done a grrat job. He's done an ok(ish) job so far and we've every right to point to the calamity upfront to criticise him.
Portraying that as me "hating' him is just a way of denying the right to criticise him.
