9/10 points between now and tea time on January 1st and Roberto will have a dilemma on his hands for the QPR game, if we don't have a few signings lined up a few of our players would benefit from a 10 day break in the league games. League fixtures spread out a bit in the new year, mainly one game a week. The size of the squad will have a massive impact on how high we can go this year, how Roberto rotates between now and the Norwich game will be crucial. 12 from the next 15 points available and a few players given a little breather and away we go again come February. Presented with the trophy on the 19th of April at Goodison.
Having spent the last 25 years knowing we had no chance I'm spending this year believing as it might be another 25 years!

Leighton must be champing at the bit to get back in the royal blue jersey. Since he's been out we've won 3, drawn 1 lost none....and that schedule included Man U and arsenal AWAY

Think we lost 5 in total including last 2 when we had already won league. Mini wobble in late November vs Norwich and poss Chelsea and Heath got badly injured vs sheffield we'd. Gray came in though and they bounced back. Massive self belief in that team, never knew when it was beaten. This lads are showing real signs of that self belief and togetherness. Rivals stronger in this era though.

A great by-product of the gleaming mental attitude currently broadcasting from L4. Very. very useful players will be sitting up and taking notice of what is taking place at Everton under Martinez and imaging themselves in the mix.

If Roberto can bring in a top line striker in Jan, then anything is possible.

If our current XI stays fit and carries on playing as they are, we'll come in the top 4.

It's all about our depth though, and realistically we need to replace some of the garbage as well as signing a few more. The biggest worry is on top of that we have to replace loans. At this stage you'd have to keep:

Howard, Joel, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Distin, Alcaraz, Baines, Oviedo, Pienaar, Osman, Barry, McCarthy, Deulofeu, Mirallas, Barkley, Lukaku. Now assuming Lukaku and Deulofeu don't come back next year, that leaves us with 15 players.

If we finish 4th and don't qualify for the champions league do we go into the Europa?

It was interesting watching MOTD and hearing Thierri Henry saying Everton were the best team arsenal had played all season. Things like this keep coming up and you think god this season really is different, we're on a whole other level. For me top four is totally possible, almost expected, but the title? It would be amazing but I can't see it.

...then,just quietly dream and hope. We are truly on a road to Damascus.

yes...but that outcome probably (at this stage) predicates Man U winning the CL
