Everton confirm rejecting 28M for both Fellaini and baines

They'll both go. My big worry is that we'll get a second bid on Tues/Wed of around 32-33m and reject that one, too. Kenwright won't want his 'Martinez March' turning into a very different kind of march. Then we'll beat WBA on Saturday with both Baines and Fellaini playing and we'll all be happy. By Monday they'll be completing their medicals at Carrington, and we'll get 35m just in time to buy McCarthy at an inflated price and perhaps Moses and one other on loan.

The rest of the cash will be forgotten about by Christmas.

Thisn is how it will happen, imo...especially that last part.

One quote on Redcafe....

Everton fans seem to think that they shouldn't deal at less that £28m per player.

The worry now is if Felli requests a transfer

the cards are firmly in our hands.....

refuse it outright, its world cup year, make him stay and play for a move after the world cup

the most simple solution ever.....

feckin made up, really disliked Moyes the last two year, how he shafted us is evident for his own gain and now this, people might say its Woodward , bollocks, Moyes has given them insight about our financial plight.... what a cock head

Itll be Fellaini now who will put in the transfer request. Moyes' trying to mug us off, we paid £15m for him the idiot. Kenwright will look a right knob now if we end up letting these two go there after them belittling us publicly.

I have no problem whatsoever with people coming in with bids to sign our players. But I have a problem when it is so derisory, disrespectful and a blatant attempt to unsettle 2 of our most important players. If the bid was 40m I would totally understand if Martinez had to think about and what he could potentially do with the money. But 28m for the 2 of them? Disgusting offer that and regardless if they even come in with an improved off I would tell them to **** off for the simple reason of trying to unsettle important members of the squad.

Exactly this.

This has F*** ALL to do with Moyes or United. It's about us. We say no deal at any price so go F*** yourself ginger boy.

Its about our board growing some balls (they probably won't like) As has been said, its a world cup year, neither player are gonna sulk or go on strike are they.

This nails it for me.

I know every club looks to buy at the right price, but at that level they're blatantly taking the piss, especially seeing as we told them in no uncertain terms that £12m wasn't going to buy Baines & THEY said it was a final bid.

United follow up their apology to Everton for their underhand approach for our manager by making an underhand approach for our two best players. Maybe we'll get an apology for that in a few weeks? A nice pat on the head for being good sports and coughing up the goods for them.

Would be too bad but not a catastrophe by any means if Fellaini handed in his transfer request or went public about his desire for a move to Utd.

Suarez, Bale and Rooney have already done it this summer and it has gotten them nowhere. If anything, it puts the ball firmly in the court of the selling club: Ok, the player wants a transfer. He´s welcome to it if you give us enough money.

Liverpool wanted Bale money for Suarez. Spurs wanted 100mil for Bale. For all the noises Utd would have sold Rooney for about 35-40 mil I reckon.

All we need to do is to slam a big price tag on Fellainis head.

Moyes will pay it. Why? Because he doesn´t dare fail in another transfer attempt.
