"I’d have found it very difficult to keep them because I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players."

This comment from Moyes bothers me.

And I'd be concerned aboit if if I was a United fan.

Surely a manager's main priority is doing what is "right" for the club which employs him.

Not the players.

I'm not concerned because were the highest in the food chain only second to Madrid.

It is really interesting how a bit of media pressure is starting to expose Moyes and show that it has always been about him and not Everton. I think a lot of people assumed that he had some deep attachment to Everton, he doesn't and probably never did.

IMO the one thing he does have attachment to are the players he has brought through, hence why his pride was hurt over the Lescott affair. It was never about Everton losing Lescott it was about Moyes losing him and after the way Moyes left us I am not surprised how he is handling the Fellaini/Baines situation. As far as he is concerned they are his players and he wants them back. He was forced to sell his top players at Everton and it really pissed him off, hence why he doesn't feel like he owes the club anything now; Kenwright made him sell players under his tenure so he feels that he can now be the one to benefit from that situation.

I think Fellaini will probably go and given he is one of our better players and we are approaching the end of the transfer window that should mean Utd will have to pay over the market rate, I think 25M. Baines is older so is worth less but given he is four years younger than Evra it is still worth Utd buying him. I think 15M is fair. As a joint bid it will probably be less, maybe 35M.
I would rather them stay as I can't see us getting in replacements that are suitable with the transfer window about to close.

Love the comments by Martinez haha...

Moyes is coming out of this looking a right bell end!
Evertonians are pissed off...
Utd fans are pissed off....
The media are questioning how hypocrital his comments are...

And the big one...He's riling everton the way city did with lescott. Have city ever beaten us since!?!?

Daily Star - yes i know - says we have slapped £30m price tag on Fellaini. wouldnt be suprised if that was the case, Koff Moyes, if you want him you will have to dig deeper.

I wonder if all these bids and interviews from Moyes is because he wants to prove he's no longer a blue to the United fans.

Sounds a bit weird I know, but manager's are just like players - when they first join people still think they have their previous club at heart etc.

I've never liked Moyes though, so I'm kinda glad his reputation at Everton is going down the drain. I hope he gets a bad response when he comes back and sacked by December (I honestly think, United will be lucky to be in the top 4 if Van Persie is injured).

He was never one in the first place.
