If we only get £20m for Felli, our transfer window is as good as over.
We need cover for Gibson; we need a CM so we can bench Osman; we need a right midfielder so that Mirallas has competition / cover and some believe we need a striker. That's three or four players. If Felli goes, we need another CM - that would make four or five players. £20m MIGHT get us three, provided we don't blow half of it (or more) on McCarthy.
Felli must not go for less than £30m. Whether he's actually worth £30m is irrelevant - if we want to generate funds by selling him, then we should be trying to generate a LOT of funds. If Man Utd only want to spend £20m, they can feck off and sign Cabaye.

He's a top class midfielder and is easily worth at least £25 million.

Why the fuk would we want to replace one overrated midfielder with another? Besides if the media/general perception of his abilities are to be believed then he's worth £28 million alone. its pretty obvious that no one is that keen on him - not even Man Utd - hence the lowball offer. In fact I doubt if anyone at Man Utd wants him at all, bar Moyes.
