Alcaraz was a free agent, don't see the problem here.

Kone was certainly not cheap for a man of his age and ability IMO.

McCarthy is low profile, nothing special and hardly setting the world on fire in the championship. It's easy to over value, Everton are not over valuing Fellaini, he is proven and established and was being talked about as one of the best players in the league 9 months ago.

Of course there is. Are you saying, playing for a manager is a central part of any transfer.

I am not trying to blame anyone. I am saying, Martinez needs to ensure he can convince the players to play for him, rather than Moyes. If he does that, they will stay.
 

If United weren't such minge bags they'd buy them at the actual market price, luckily for us they seem more interested in the stock market than paying the going rate. They wouldn't shell out for Fabregas and they won't shell out for our lads. I hope Everton release a sarcastic statement making United look silly.
 

Quite certain that Everton response (confirm bid but without comment on whether they're interested in selling the players) is just to bait United into showing their cards.
Let's see if United will come back with the 40m+ offer required.
I want them both to stay. so much. But their heads will turn and this could turn ugly. if it does I want to get fully reimbursed.
Hope Moyes doesn't last the season.

So when the players agent says my boy is being offered Cl, global exposure, massive wage increase, lucrative marketing opportunities playing for the world's largest brand and, oh yeh nearly forgot, virtual guarantee of trophies! what do you suggest RM says?
