Everton confirm rejecting 28M for both Fellaini and baines

Wow - some very strange and revealing remarks in there. I'm not sure I want to hear Martinez saying he's in the back seat on all this. It makes my stomach turn hearing that the ginger Judas and Kenwright are carving this up between them.

Reading between the lines it sounds like RM is pissed off with all this politics. United are absolute ****s on stuff like this and Moyes is fitting right in like the prick he is.

Reading that we have no chance of keeping these two now.
Agree with this. At £28m I wasn't too worried but at £36m the valuation isn't too far below what we'd expect, and I can imagine bill agreeing a deal for about £38m with a few add ons. For the first time this summer I think they'll both go. Not ideal but hopefully we have replacements lined up and will end up with a younger squad that suits how Martinez wants to play.

You're right. It sounds like Martinez has no say in whether they stay or go and it's just down to money. It would seem too that £40m could be the magic number.

Let's face it, in reality neither did Moyes when here...despite all his bull**** about 'I say who comes and goes'.

I'd imagine Kenwright is trying to push them as close to 40m as possible. I would also imagine Martinez already knows how much of that he will see and has players agents informed and ready to go. It's a game of chicken between Kenwright and Woodward now. It's going to be a hard transfer window to take.

This has last day written all over it.

I just hope when it all goes pear shaped that the fans turn on Kenwright.

Awful position for Martinez to find himself in.

Tbh if they offer 45m AND Martinez gets to see 35/40m I'll drive them to old Trafford myself.

Could do some serious damage with that cash.

But until then I want them to stay... but an offer too good to refuse in our situation could benefit us..

on monday evening??!

I'm at a point now where any deal to that cock Moyes will stick in my throat.

If he'd have come in and offered £45m back in early July then okay there's something to talk about. Taking away the emotion I can see some logic in accepting that level of cash for an ageing left back and a 1 in 4 midfielder. With a new manager and a new style of play I can accept if Martinez wants to amend the driving force of all out attacks away from left back. Likewise perhaps Fellaini has been so frustrating at times it is unreal.

But the way Moyes and United have gone about this - after all the bollocks about Hughes and Lescott just takes the p*ss.

The way I feel now I'd love it if teams other than United (ideally foreign) came in for the two OR Kenwright came out and said definitively that he backs Martinez and that Baines is not for sale at any price and Fellaini is £30m or f*** off.

An aside from that is whether Fellaini's buy-out clause kicks in again in January and next summer again?

Actual relegation worry if this happens.

In fact... I'm really worried. Loads of money, 2 key players (goals and creative outlet), and limited options to replace them in the hands of a untested at our level manager
