Extremely poor from whoever deals with transfers at United be it Moyes or someone else. If it's Moyes he needs to put his head in the toilet.

Now the deal would get interesting....

Some reports are saying that the original offer for Baines was £9m, the same as we reportedly agreed with Bayern a couple of years ago.

The Guardian say that "the deal consisted of £16m for Fellaini and £12m for Baines". If the original rejected bid for Baines was £12m instead of £9m then they've really got a nerve to come back with exactly the same offer for him.

"David Moyes, the United manager, sanctioned the offer for his two former players at the end of last week".

"Fellaini cost around €19m (£16m at the present rate) with add-ons when Moyes bought the Belgian midfielder to Everton from Standard Liege in 2008. With United offering around the same sum it appears the club do not believe the 25-year-old's value has increased after five years of Premier League experience".

Obviously Moyes knows our finances, so he must think that he's pitched it at the right level to tempt us.

With the way in which he left and these latest shenanigans he's really undermined a lot of the good work he did at Everton.

Wishful thinking. They make 100 mil from selling shirts alone. Most profitable club in the world probably.

They really aren't. Their commercial revenue is peanuts compared to Bayern Munich, ad their merchandise sales are peanuts compared to Madrid and Barca.

Plus, they are about £500m in debt from the buyout

They also service large debts. I'm not doubting they could raise the money if they wanted. They clearly could. Just whether they have the appetite to spend the 45-50m our board appear to value the players at.
