Agreed really. Admired Rush for how good he was, albeit grudgingly, and there's a few ex-Kopites like Dietmar Hamann and to an extent Stan Collymore who I pretty much like. Sort of.

You'd have to have a complete emotional detachment from the subject matter of football to be a Scouser and not be arsed about the local rivalry.
