This subject goes to the very core of what it means to be an Everton Supporter.

Maybe the 20% can be compared with those fans who support two or more clubs. They're just a different type of fan, with different ideas and priorities about what they want out of following the game.

I find that incredible even though I voted for us to finish 4th. I don't for one minute believe that 1% of the 20% support more than 1 club- over the years we have leant to hate Liverpool more. Simple

If we had to beat Man City for 4th then obviously I'd want us to win, no question.

To be fair though if we already had 4th secured and Man City needed to beat us to snatch the title out of RS hands I'd defo let City win.

It's quite conceiveable that our game against Man City, should we win, could both put us in a very strong position for 4th but also Liverpool in a very strong position for the title.

So a question, blues: would you happily lose that game to guarentee Man City the title?

Tbh the best thing that could happen if they won it would be for us to be one if the main reasons why they did by doing them a favour would even out the banter a bit and might get everyone to chill out a bit on this rivalry and hope against hope bring a bit of the old freindly derby back.

I've had a few beers so maybe it's just the lovable optimist in me.

Also I can bet you anything that liverpool winning the title really will mean sweet FA when we are signing top players and playing in the CL.
