It would actually be quite good for both the Merseyside teams to be in the CL. As I said before, I'd rather Liverpool didn't win it but I'd much rather we came 4th and then win it than us come 5th and them not win it. I really think Martinez's combination of attacking play, tactical nous and faith in young players will be able to attract some brilliant players if we get CL. If we don't get CL then I still think he can attract boss players but it'd be a bit more difficult.
It's all irrelevant because City & Chelsea are going to snot them at mordor.

Mate, I also prefer them not winning the title. In fact, I prefer them not winning a single game anymore during their existance. However, given the choice as stated in this poll, then again I stand by my words that I happily give them the title by beating City and so securing fourth place and CL at Goodison. Everton love>Liverpool hate and that will never change.

Bitterness is part of the rivalry though. We're bitter cos dey made us so. And I'd have us lose every game we could if it meant dey didn't win anything. Because itd be unbearable, like. Couldn't live with Everton getting 4th if it meant having to put up wiv a cupla annoying reds.
