There's a chance Suarez could be poached this summer but if they're champs it won't happen - more likely they'll be after Messi or some such cack and on the plague will spread.

I know you didn't ask for my opinion but I would disagree, winning the league is a much bigger achievement than finishing 4th.

Indeed...but we don't have a shot at the title this season. 4th is the best we can hope for...and frankly that's a stretch. I care about Everton FC...not them lot.

The RS winning the league will have long term negative implications for us that will far outweigh the one off benefit of finishing 4th and CL qualification. For that reason, if it comes to it, I'd give up 4th for the RS not being champions. That's not being bitter or small time. Nor does it mean I hate them more than I love us. On the contrary, I say it with the objective of wanting our club to claw back the massive gap between us and them currently. Them winning the league will make that gap even bigger, regardless of what we do.
