I completely agree with this. So many people here do seem to obsess over Liverpool rather than support Everton. I find it very sad.

Everton 1 Chelsea 0 - way way way back in the season.

If we'd lost to Chelsea that day they'd be top right now.

I for one loved us winning that day and will on Saturday if Naismith scores a header from 3cm out again.

In previous seasons, I've cringed when I've seen kopites going to the pub specifically to watch United, supporting whoever their opposition is.

I think it will be different this time. They thought they'd lost it, but now they've been given another bite of the cherry and it's back in their own hands.

That in itself will give them a massive lift coupled with the return to fitness of both Toure, and Aguerro who is now looking far sharper.

It's all about Saturday for me, if they can beat us, then the title is theirs IMO.

No game is certain, Long and Jelavic are cup tied, so will be playing. I want 5th. Or at least Europe.

You can't have it both ways:

Look at it the other way too:

We might slip up
Spurs might win all theirs, united might win all theirs.

We HAVE to win a game, city or hull i don't care, aslong as we win ONE

I agree with you mate, but would rather be more confident of us winning a game than united and spurs winning all of there games.

We are all on the same side, I just think panic has set in after a bad result at a good side, I know we looked bad, but we looked bad against Palace and beat United easily the next game.

My dad moved us away from the City when I was young.

I am now 45 and the only blue in a family of reds, dad and brother.

The only thing that cheered me up from a bad weekend (splitting up with missus) was sitting in the pub with all the local reds yesterday, playing devils advocate and trying not to to smirk like a simpleton when Gerrard slipped and also Torres went through at the end.

But i'll ask you how annoyed you'd be if City then lost to Villa, and Liverpool still win the league, and we've potentially lost out on europe and Tim Sherwood's Spurs finished above us?
