That's an understatement mateVery tough year for season ticket holders.
Disagree everyone I've spoke to today are absolutely livid with the performance and result
Very tough year for season ticket holders.
The Goodison crowd are always there when Everton needs them. Its a surreal feeling going to Goodson at the moment. I don't have any confidence that the team is going to win, regardless of who we are playing. Against Tottenham, Lennon scored an absolute cracker. But we all knew that Spurs would get back into it. There was no shock when West Ham came back from 2 down because we had all seen it before.
Some blame it on the fans but that isn't fair. Every Evertonian in Goodson wanted to see it out against West Ham. It might be a shock but season ticket holders don't renew because they enjoy seeing their team lose. It was great last week against Chelsea though.
Does anyone think it can work the other way for Everton & our fans?
Because I do
What do you mean by this?If we play good football, fans will be happy.
Palace fans make lots of noise too.... doesn't work so well for them does it.
Leicester do their talking on the pitch, and their fans fully deserve to be in full voice...
We on the other hand talk about this so called amazing team, yet can't see to actually turn up for a game at Goodison... then lose for the 8h time at home all season. Leicester on the other hand have lost three games, all season. Yet we've lost 50% of our aways.
Wembley will be a bloody fantastic distraction, but the reality is, thats all it is. A Distraction, and is really the fans reward for putting up with this dross all season. Knowing us, we'll win the cup, and give Martinez a 25-year extension.
Our 'supporters' are shocking at times.
Library today.
What do you mean by this?
Our away form is top 4 quality, our home form is relegation quality. Our away fans are fantastic, our home fans are still great in terms of numbers but not one league game this season has been fantastic in terms of atmosphere.
Ah yeah. Scary to think where we would be with Leicester's home form.My typo.
It's homes i meant!
If i'd have spent every penny of my disposable income for the week watching a terrible football team stink out the gaff i'd be singing my head off
