I just want to enjoy watching us. That doesn't mean winning every week. Just a team who I trust to do their best and people behind the scenes who are trying their best too.

There's been a huge disconnect since early Martinez years and it's because the same players are repeatedly letting everyone down and costing managers their jobs. They are a thoroughly unlikeable bunch at the minute.

It was more the Huddersfield game that wound me up. People leaving with 15 left at 1-1 on a Saturday afternoon. Bizarre.

I stayed to the bitter end, I was in the street end disabled area with my 90 year old dad. Honestly our defence should have been in there and me and him in defence, could not have done any worse.

However we should have scored quite a few.

Haven't been able to relate to the club for years now.

It's not that they're crap - it's that so many of them are spineless cowards who shirk responsibility.

Aside from the result, was the West Ham match really that bad? We at least played a brand of football that was watchable again. We had some boneheaded mistakes in defence which cost us the game. We always looked like we had more goals in us in attack for this game, for whatever reason we had no end product. Our two biggest signings couldn't feature in this game, our captain was out injured, and Schneiderlin is still being forced into action b/c of all the injuries. After the abysmal nature of the last few seasons, I see the beginnings of something positive to build on.

We aren't going to win the league this season. But we will play better football and I, for one, am looking forward to enjoying watching Everton again. Perhaps i'm just a glass half full person - we are miles better than last season, and the results will come.
