The first goal came against the run of play and the second (offside) further compounded it, up until then had been a positive performance.
Just think a lack of balance is still the main problem. Can't have Richarlison and Walcott bombing on at all times, whilst Kenny is left exposed, left to defend 2-on-1 for 70 minutes.
That said, this season is just the first in a long-term project, expectations need to be adjusted whilst kinks are ironed out; a lot of elements of the performance today were streets ahead of last season.
Once Gomes (or any well-rounded '8' that eases the creative burden from deep), Mina, Coleman and Bernard are all starters I think we'll look a lot better in and out possession.
