Everton in crisis? - Daily Mail Article

I presume someone has this evidence to show me like? Link me up lids.

I don't think Lerner is the Messiah or anything but he has definitely given his managers money in the faith that they will do something worthwhile with it. Again I would ask, how perilous is their situation compared to ours?

Its in the Villa annual accounts mate, to save you wadeing through stuff, heres an excerpt from the bleacher report:

The accounts report £5.7m interest payable, including £4.5m on the loan notes (which goes to Lerner) and £0.8m on bank loans. This may not seem much, but it does represent about 5% of revenue. If that is added to Reform Acquisition Limited’s £7.7m management fees, then you could argue that Lerner takes out nearly 15% of revenue

Cheers. Does that not indicate that Lerner is simply repaying a loan he put in back to himself or am I being stupid? So in essence he isn't paying himself anything?

It wouldnt appear so the 4.5mill is interest - seems to be a similar scam the two lads across the park tried to pull with the interest.

The 7.5 mill is a payment for management fees! For a company owned by Learner.

"Wiki", anything underlined and "chicoazul" work just as effectively.

You called ?

I think Neiler just made it quite clear there for everyone to see.

So you are speculating on this then mate? No offense like but people are quick enough to come down on others for doing that with Everton's finances. To do so with Villa's is a bit rich innit? Just saying like. On the face of it it doesn't look like Lerner is creaming anything. There is as much conjecture and conspiracy theorist in what you are saying as there is in what others say about Everton's "operating expenses".

How so mate, the breakdown has been published in the annual accounts as interest paid and creditors and the source above i posted is from the bleachers report. I suppose thats one of many smokeing guns really, their accounts are in ruin, they are selling their best players, the chairman is taking revenue out of the club and worringly they are now taking on private debt at libor rates. I suppose what we're seeing now in the selling of players is a full blowen case of the basket case a few of us have commented, warned of on here for some time, in respone to how some Evertonians thought how fantasticly Villa were run, at the time people scoffed - now noone wants to talk about Villa/Learner all of a sudden. Really becuase it provides the balance to the arguement that a takeovers in the main arent the great solution some wish it to be and that doesnt meet the agenda.

Could you imagine the reaction of Evertonians if as above was us................................................., that said some will never learn in fact just a couple of pages before this most were bigging up Learner (even yourself) and wishing we were WHU.

It Sadens me that there seems to be a sect of Evertonians to put it kindly are all heart and no sense, desperation is their dangerous ally.

If you doubt it mate, have a good look into it yourself!

its one thing to open villas can of worms, i wish evertons were as readily available, they would be very interesting reading.

I don't like to pick sides here because I don't know much about corporate finances, but despite Villa beating us to N'Zogbia and signing a class striker in Darren Bent, you have to compare outgoings too. Recently they've lost Young, Friedel, Downing, Milner and Gareth Barry. That was the spine of their team ffs. That's like us losing Arteta, Howard, Pienaar, Baines and Fellaini, as a crude comparison. Last time I checked we've only lost one of them.

I don't envy Villa, that's all I'm saying; from a fan's perspective.

Villa gambled and have seemingly come worse off because of if.

Saying thay, I wish we had a Lerner.

Like him or not you have to credit Matt Damon on this, he called this ffs.

Trust me mate, i know chapter verse and tbh if i had the lunatic revolution agenda close to my heart, which i dont - i would have fired a bang load of ammunition against the board - you guys havent even entered into the right forest to bark up the wrong tree yet. Thats not meant to be an insult at all , but there are massively gaping events/issues/analyses you guys are missing, whcih to be honest im keeping an eye on!
