He's been our most creative player since he signed.

He only gives fouls away because he's left one v one all the time.

You rightly say Coleman is poor. Why are we spending £17m on a left-back instead of a right-back?

Was saying the same to my lad Toff, Coleman has been crap and has needed replacing for a couple of years now, yet we spend all that money on a position we don't need to fill because we've already got one of the best left - backs in the prem.

28 the new 30 now?

It's generally the peak of a players career if you can get it out of them. But that's just me.
The anatomical peak for a professional sportsperson is generally seen as 26-29. There are however lot's of factors that can change that such as chosen sport, injuries, how you look after yourself, expected workload, loads of stuff tbh.

I'm not advocating him as a left back mate, I'm just saying I think that's what Benitez will be thinking.

I posted in the Godfrey thread last night, he didn't look right to me from just before Chrlsea scored onwards. I genuinely thought he was going to collapse at one stage as he just seemed so confused

Issue is.. we could fall into the same trap we did with Coleman having Kenny and Holgate as backup to say "That'll do".

It never works.

The Echo have said we want 3 signings in Jan mate - LB, RB & CM.

Digne essentially funds those deals FFP speaking.

Of course. It's why you have management.

He's a 28 year old out of form french international who's had a falling out with his new boss.

He can't "defend" yet on the flip side is one of the best attacking full backs in the prem...

To me it's only Rafael and some of our fans in world football that think turfing out him is a good move

But can't defend so off he goes...

He's not good enough mate....which is the mantra being repeated to justify what Benitez has done

The whole team is poor defensively!

And name me a fullback that can defend?

We're a joke.
aaron wan bissaka can defend not the greatest going forward tho. I like Digne but if selling him means we can get this new lad hopefully he is good. If he isn’t it’s a big mistake again. Hopefully are scouts have done a good job for once. Also a new RB am all for it. Digne doesn’t suit the way we play and I would rather we didn’t play the way we play at the moment but it is what it is. I actually think Digne would be great for someone like City.
