Basically, backs up what I said earlier.

If this signing would be a view to him being Digne's replacement in 6-18 months' time, then great. Sensible move. He's got that time to bed into the country, the team and he's only 22 and very raw, so will need time.

it's not a sensible move to just try and flog a key player who is quite literally better than Mykolenko at everything right now
All true, but only if the manager plays him.

You need to put those stats upmagainst Godfrey because sadly, Digne is gone.

This.

I dont get why some of our fans cant accept when a player isn't stopping around.

We all knew James was a goner yet some still were holding hope of him staying / putting him in their starting 11's pre matches lol

Digne is gone already lads - accept it and move on.

James - wanted out / needed his wages off the books

Digne - Fallen out with manager / supposedly had his agent leaking things to the media.

Yeah it happened once so we should all accept this is how it is forever

He'll get thrown in straight away... we'll get tonked...and then everyone will blame him.

The everton way

Then if we signed someone for £25mil on a 5 year deal only £5mil is shown immediately with the remainder shown at £5mil a season for the balance of the contract.

So in theonry, we sell for £25mil, buy for £25mil and were £20mil up this Jan.

Im not understanding why we would need to sell a player for equal or higher value.

We could sell Holgate for £5mil and Mykolenko for £20mil.
?

And that's an absolutely terrible way to run a club. Handing complete control to an egomaniac who also happens to be awful at his job. Great.

He's orchastrated it from the off right down to offing the medical staff.

Don't be surprised if we sign a bunch of completely off the radar players (like this left back) that he'll have lined up for a while to complete his Masterpiece.

He's basically a male Cersi Lannister from Game of Thrones.
