Got to at least let RB try to get in the players that can play how he wants. I don't think for a moment that we'll get relegated so the best we can hope for is that it works.

It will work out, Benitez needs time and his players. No way we will get relegated, Benitez teams tend to perform way better in the second part of the season. I think he is the best to get rid of uninterested crap players. It's a healing period...

That's the first time Benitez has said anything like that for a player...i think its exactly the attitude amongst certain Everton players that gets managers after managers sacked at Everton, i think Benitez is the perfect one to get rid of these players.

He’s called the whole team out today and in particular the defence.

He’s also called the fans out, yet taken no blame at all ( again ) for that debacle today.

This doesn’t normally end well for any manager, let alone one who wasn’t wanted and despised by many in the first place.

Can't say i know an awful lot about this Patterson lad, the one thing i do know though is he's had 2 managers now and both have favoured James Tavanier over him who at best in England was a League 1 standard player.

That worries me more than anything because our current RB's are all performing at barely League One standard now.

Wild question on the relegation front, where do you see our 7 wins coming from after the formation fat man put up against Brighton?

hope that paterson is alright... never seen him play nor have i seen the new LB play .. need a CB as well branthwaite seems promising

then in the summer we will prob need someone to replace richarlison and possibly DCL, maybe even pickford

But that still makes my point, why so many world class managers are failing here? Not a coincidence.
And he is being right about unbelievable individual mistakes...no manager can correct them. A single new Chelsea player at the back today costed them two goals, when we have atleast 7-8 of them making such mistakes regularly.

In fairness, I think that Tavernier is their captain? Probably plays a part in why he's favoured.

I don’t see us beating anyone at the minute. Today could have been different if that penalty goes in.

Hopefully we make a few more signings that can hit the ground running.
