I’d be replacing Keane long before Allan who is great when he and Doucoure are both fit
Also why you not playing Gordon over ‘Townie’

Would be a big risk defensively playing both Gordon and Patterson on the same flank imo - Patterson is going to need an experienced player ahead of him who helps out defensively / shields him for a few months whilst he gets to grips with the PL imo.

Townie is that type of player who'll look after him on the pitch you feel.

Athletic saying Benitez didn't want him and only agreed to the loan after Moshiri and KJ initially discussed permanent deal

Will all end in tears, this manager - doesn't get on with anyone who doesn't tell him he's right all the time, he has control issues - its happened everywhere and the outcome is conflict, im surprised hes even compromised but that will be short lived. We can only hope to survive relegation and watch this unfold.

Okay then

If he did, it's absolute lunacy, as the last thing we need is another right-footed left winger
Well considering the injuries we have had, the fact that Rich and DCL are only possibly fit, means we have Gray and Gordon as our only 100% fit wingers (andros foot). One injury to Gray for instance and we are barebones again

Big risk playng Patterson & Mykolenko at full back in a back four also

I mean, if Mosh REALLY did sign Iwobi, you'd think he would not make the same mistake twice and sign a sub from a competitor, I mean he is a billionaire business man, unlikely he makes too many errors like this
He’s clearly made mistake after mistake since he’s been here. He’s adamant, since he came, to have us competing at the top and thinks that is achieved by just spending money.

He’s overruled the DoF on appointments, he aimlessly wanted Zaha here because he was a “big signing”.

He’s not put any real football people in to drive the club forward, our commercial deals are atrocious and mainly based off associations with Usmanov.

Any right minded businessmen would have came in and immediately appointed a wealth of experience to the board.

To me that is massive incompetence. So I would not be shocked if he did sign players based of the advice of his long term association with that rat, Kia.

If we don't get a couple of wins and sharpish, avoiding relegation will definitely be the main target won't it mate.

But then you could say play Coleman and Gordon. Let’s play the best players we have to try and get results

Newcastle is the perfect opportunity for us to shift some average players on big wages.

Surely we can convince them to buy Iwobi and co?
I remember some years back, I think Nigeria were playing either Brazil or Argentina and they were worried about Nigerias Iwobi , what went wrong he doesn’t even make there squad now.

Is this true? I mean is it?

Tbf Townsend is better than Gordon at present and the stats/goals/assists this season prove that.

I think with DCL now fit and Digne gone Townie is now our best crosser of the ball and it would be daft to leave him out the side all things considered.

The front 4 of DCL, Richarlison, Gray and Townie had us 6th in the table lets not forget before injuries struck and we collapsed.
