The 25 man squad rule might mean we dont sign any more players

I had a look: we registred 24 players in September excl Sigurddson, Gordon and Branthwaite (under 21).
With Digne and James gone that is 22. However we add DVB, El Ghazi and Mykolenko that is 25. Patterson is 20 so assume is ok. So 1 more new player means leave Tosun out ??? Or Delph ???
Hope they have talked to Lampard on potential outs lol

Tosun, El Ghazi, Delph, Kenny, Davies, Rondon, Holgate .Throw them All in under 23s and unregister them

There isn't club mad enough in world football to take Delph.

you don't have to register players, so Delph or Tosun could just be left out the squad rather than having to leave

We only signed Lonegran because Harry Tyrer got injured at the start of the season, he's available again now so I could see us letting Lonegran go, maybe a lower league tem might want him as a back up? or we could just not register him and keep him as a training keeper.

Yep but clubs want Luiz, so no need to call up EFC. Everton are only called with crap nobody wants, like El Ghazi. Was the point I was making.

I dont think we still have money to spend unless there is someone to be offloaded and gained money back. And we have used the quotas to loan. It seems we will use the current squad to play the rest of season.

hahaha i didn't say there are no further options to decrease the squad size. Only i dont see Lampard being that manager to just not register a few players. Honestly if i was Lampard i would call Tosun now and tell him he might not be registred if we bring 1 more in/no more outs. Maybe that will make him go. Not sure but often the Turkish league has a longer deadline than January 31st.

Be surprised if Lampard came in with one addition. We may see a few go out and one more in let's see...
