I would say it is so stupid to use a loan quota for El Ghazi…If we have money to spend, then it still can be accepted. But we dont have it…In my opinion, I would rather loan 1 more AMF/DM/CM in…apart woth VDB.

I read somewhere that the amount of players that a team can send on loan will be cut by a huge amount and will affect Chelsea alot as they have about 23 players put on loan (can be only be 8 next season. So I imagine there could be huge opportunities to get some of these players in the summer or even now as they won't realistically be able to keep them all in the squad.

Would also take Gallagher instantly

Looks like some of the top clubs will either have to offer them game time or sell them. If DCL goes in the summer Broja would be a good shout. There will be interest in Gallagher as well from a few clubs. You would hope Lampard has a certain amount of pull.

We dont have any loans left mate so I think we need to prioritise filling the midfield with competent players who can get across the pitch.

If we decide that vitaly isn’t up to scratch yet then I’d go with Godfrey there as he has been solid when there in the main

It was a bad decision regardless. There was defo some shenanigans going on involving that and the Digne deal.

Too right, I remember saying at the time that it was a terrible signing and being shouted down by certain posters who told me that he was free what did we have to lose etc etc. I tried to explain that he was costing wages and taking up a loan slot.

I think we have entered into a legally binding contract with both Villa and the player. I'd be surprised if there is any way we could send him back other than if he picked up an injury.
