The rules arent crystal clear.

They are:
- Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.
- The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.

I dont understand the two players on loan at any one time.

When you have bad runs and good runs you're an average player. Being an England player doesn't change that the same as I wouldn't sign Germany's first choice LB back because he's "Germany's #3." The only thing that matters for is hopefully how much money we could get for selling him. I just doubt anyone is interested.

I always thought it was 2 from home, 2 from away.

But then the wording of that suggests we cant make more than 2 in 1 window?

Im not sure to be honest.

A good way to tell if our players are actually good is if other teams are rumored to want them. Anyone want Pickford? Which keepers in the league is he actually better than? It isn't many.

Lloris retiring and Spurs deciding on Pickford is our best hope of getting out of a decade of averageness. Or Southgate dropping him and starting a spiral.
