Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

If Mo Cho hadnt already been at us absolutely nobody would want him. He's not as good as Fellows and never hangs around a club for more than 10 minutes.

The only CHO we shouldve signed was at Chelsea and went to forest for buttons

Fair enough we have cover. Maybe I should have said adequate cover. We've 1 LB (with cover from Young who's 39 and is usually already on the pitch). Our RB options have for the most part all been injured with 2 of them being wrong side of 35. Defensive midfield is currently down the bare bones with Tim and Garner out. We don't have one natural right sided winger. We have cover at CF but Beto looks to be off to Italy, Dom's leaving and Broja is (I think) more injury prone than Dom has been. We have just about (if not actually) the thinnest and slowest premier league squad in the league. I'd say we need to add to the squad in multiple positions. Minimum I'd say we need a LB, DCM, RW and if Beto goes a CF.

We need players in every single position. Though we do have 'enough' players.

Yes Please!

Two PL clubs keen on signing Luiz from Juve

Latest from Sky Sports News chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol:

Two Premier League clubs want to sign Douglas Luiz from Juventus.

Juventus signed Luiz in the summer from Aston Villa for £21m, plus winger Samuel Iling-Junior and midfielder Enzo Barrenechea.

The player is very open to returning to the Premier League.

Juventus are considering loan plus obligation offers.

That would be ideal really. We have a loan space and the obligation could kick us on to the summer.

I said we should go for him before be became amazing at Villa. Its so random about the Brazilian right back i hope we get him...

Few names at right wing and right back I think worth shortlist intrigue. Market rate via transfermarkt so all the caveats applied. Clearly the exodus come the end of the season warrants some January additions even with budget restraints. But for the current campaign I think RW and RB are paramount.

RW
Geny Catamo 23, Mozambique, Sporting CP 15 million
Dilane Bakwa 22, France, Strasbourg 15 million
Morgan Whittaker 23, England, Plymouth Argyle 12 million
Gabriel Pec 23, Brazil, LA Galaxy 12 million
Zakaria Aboukhlal 24, Morocco, Toulouse 10 million

RB
Michael Kayode 20, Italy Fiorentina, 18 million
Jackson Tchatchoua 23, Cameroon, Hellas Verona, 8 million
Killian Sardella 22, Belgium, Anderlecht, 6 million
Mattia Zanotti, 21 Italy, FC Lugano 4 million
Omar El Hilali, 21, Morocco, Espanyol 3 million

Kayode ive posted about several times.

Cant get past Dodo for Fiorentina. Theres a quality player there.

That's him gone then.

Its just lacking a comment from "The Esk" about him being not for sale...

...he'd be sold before you finished reading.

Factor Ramadan into it...... That's a serious lack of energy in the above names.......

Just what we need 😜

Kevin Thelwell " I'm looking at a American player, Dychey"

Dyche" Any good Kev"

KT " Not sure mate, his agent reckons we can get him for 15m"

Dyche " Has he been on the grass lately"

KT " Yes Sean, he has actually, his agent said so"

Dychey " Great, get him in"
