I just think Harrison is more Osman like.
Do you mean Harrison Armstrong or Jack Harrison?
I just think Harrison is more Osman like.
Osman wasn't brilliant but it's utterly insulting to mention McNeil in the same breath as Osman. The fewer McNeil-like players in the starting XI at Everton, the better.I think he will see Mcneil abit like Osman. A steady player who occasionally comes up with a bit of pure magic. I'll always remember Ozzie scoring that last minute screamer against Portsmouth. I think it may of been the season we qualified for the champions league
And Lindstrom is more pienaar like
Myko is about as far from being Baines as is possible. No ability on the ball whatsoever whereas Baines had the most ability in our entire team. He was out best attacker for a long period.Very Pienaaresque alright, with the added bonus of goals. I'm sure he'll drill a partnership into himself and Myko.
Cracking idea to buy a guy whose been out of footy for a year and a half ....
Osman was a very good player. He wasn't top four level but he was still very good. He dominated a top Utd team at Goodison one time.Osman wasn't brilliant but it's utterly insulting to mention McNeil in the same breath as Osman. Think he got one cap. He genuinely had top level technical ability (I think even Joe Cole said he was different class). If he had pace, or more strength or a clean shot he would have been a top class player.Unlucky not to get a few caps for England unless I've missed out an obscure friendly he featured in.
That's harsh on Mcneil. I think there is a good player in there with the right manager. I think if we had a half decent striker Mcneil will create goals as wellOsman wasn't brilliant but it's utterly insulting to mention McNeil in the same breath as Osman. Always considered that Coufal was a solid signing for them for about £4m. Hopefully, we move from a manager who showed no interest in the value of attacking fullbacks, to a manager who appreciates exactly what they bring to a teamO.k saying this and that player will magically morph into a regen of the competitive 2000s teams but Moyes needs some backing in the transfer window this month.
When he went in at West Ham they signed Bowen and Soucek in his first window and those two pretty much adapted to the prem immediately so you're looking for similar types either from abroad or championship who can hit the ground running and give the team more pace and energy in the final third.
McNeil carried our awful offense, he is definitely a good playerThat's harsh on Mcneil. I think there is a good player in there with the right manager. I think if we had a half decent striker Mcneil will create goals as well
I didn't say a good partnershipMyko is about as far from being Baines as is possible. No ability on the ball whatsoever whereas Baines had the most ability in our entire team. He was out best attacker for a long period.
Him & Ndiaye the only 2 players who try to get us up th pitch and make yards by driving forward. Everyone else happy to play the safety 1st approach. Can we improve on him, absolute, but McNeill is the least of our problemsMcNeil carried our awful offense, he is definitely a good player
True. The opposition would be very happy to let Myko overlap and hit bad cross after bad cross in.I didn't say a good partnership
