It'e weird one that though because Lescott was an absolute monster at left back for a while. He was a beast at both ends. The days when we used to be good. Sigh.

It’s mad to think back how good he was for us at left back, given he was was a natural centre half! absolutely rampaging down the left, still probably one of the biggest (pleasant) surprises in recent years, kind of superb signings that we used to deliver regularly, yet possibly still one of the last ones we did bring in at real value. Insane to think how someone unleashed Moshiri with funds, only after Moyes had gone. I’ve only just got out of rehab yesterday after we paid £28m for Bolasie

Big if, but if we can keep him fit, he'd be an absolutely perfect addition. Same vein as Trippier was for the Barcodes when they found some loose change. I get the obvious elephant in the room regarding his fitness but he's head and shoulders above Myko.

I just don’t think we can afford a “big if” signing like Chilwell.

It would be nice, if for once, we had a scouting department that could find a decent one in Europe. Doesn’t even need to be brilliant, just an upgrade on the left back we have now which isn’t hard.

There's absolutely no chance of that. Moyes will do something with McNeil. One of our most talented players.

He's the equivalent of an NFL kicker, that's it

Moyes will bring in 2-3 trusted players he has either already worked with or scouted extensively.

I hope one is a goal creator and another one a goal scorer!

It’s not so much getting a tune out of him it’s keeping him fit, which seems to be a very difficult task.

That’s even before we talk about his wage.

We’ve got “a bit of wiggle room” with money apparently so we’re not addressing every position.

For me the two main priorities are left back & right midfield. We’ll just have to get through the next few months with it till the summer.

Agree . We need better players all over the pitch but the priorities for me are RW , LB/ LWB , CF.

If we bring 3 players in I'm very happy. If we could also add a CM I'd be ecstatic.

We also need a RB but I think we can get by until.the end of the season with what we've got.

That means getting a more attacking left back and maybe a better right back

I think at LB we certainly need someone more attacking minded than Myko, but I think Patterson can do that job in the right.

But back when Moyes was here first time we had Baines on the Left and Hibbert on the right, before Coleman came in. Hibbert was similar to Myko, in that he was better defensively than going forward, so we can play in a similar way to how we did before with the current players
