Yeah, people forget (or choose to) what an absolute talent Barkley was at 17. Honestly, I think he had more talent than Rooney, Rooney just developed the physique earlier. That double leg break absolutely stunted his growth to a massive degree.

That and that he's thick as the earths crust too.

Rooney was a generational talent who won everything you can in the game at club level, retired Man United and England's top goalscorer.. Barkley isn’t nor was ever close to being more talented than him.
