But how do you solve this problem without signing players with pace? Should we only employ snails so they can all keep up with each other? Because that policy doesn’t seem to be working. The problem with someone with the pace of Nuamah is there is no one in this current Everton team that has any pace. Nuamah would be bombing forward and then have to stop to let everyone else catch up.
Probably in the same way they all have for about the last thirty years.See that Rangers striker scored again. Don't know how he'd translate to PL but I quite like the look of him. Has that street player build but a nice clean touch.

Jeez. I really hope not.It got mentioned by a reporter on X that he had been offered to us (presumably by his agent, and without any indication of interest on our part), and somehow that was extrapolated into us chasing after him and remaking all the same mistakes of the previous owners.
But those being our best options at the time (if they even were) doesn't suggest that we should keep doing those sorts of deals going forward, because generally players who are available on such deals aren't really worth having in the first place. That was my point in regards to any such hypothesized deal for Nuamah. They haven't worked, but that was the extent of our options. If we didn't have them, then the squad would be almost completely threadbare.
Calculated gambles which didn't pay off, but beggars can rarely be choosers
One curious name on the list 24 year old former Manchester United LB Brandon Williams. I haven't seen anything definitive on what happened to him, but he was supposed to be their future LB and apparently made mistakes in his personal life (e.g., dangerous driving, suspended license, which points to other things). He seems like the type of player who could still have a career if he's managed to get his personal life sorted.Plenty still on the free agent list but these could have been signed at any point and registered outside the transfer window...

100% agree, but we may not be in a position with PSR to go out and change the approach at the moment. But those being our best options at the time (if they even were) doesn't suggest that we should keep doing those sorts of deals going forward, because generally players who are available on such deals aren't really worth having in the first place. I'm not sure he did hence he dropped out of the gameOne curious name on the list 24 year old former Manchester United LB Brandon Williams. Hopefully we get a tune out of him so if he ends up hereI love his work on the Voice
Sounds like a tactical mastermind at work .what if he runs gets in the boss position then our player gets it of him runs in on goal he shoots he scores
The fee is one thing against it. The other is that for an attacking, supposedly creative player he has neither scored or assisted this season in France which is rated lower than the Championship.Think the complaint about Nuamah has more to do with the purported fee than anything. Been reports that it would be in the range of £25 million, which for a player who currently has 0 goals and 0 assists this season in the French league of all places - if I'm not mistaken - seems astronomically high given our current overall needs.
