Yup, four spots is entirely about the maximum number of domestic loans allowed in a season with only two being at any one time.

Yup I think if you use more than two domestic by sending them back and bringing another in then it cuts into the foreign allowance as well.

Really decent Right Back, for the kind of fee mentioned. But, I'm not convinced at LB. Fairly certain I've never seen him have a top game at LB.

Are you forgetting we're currently having to field a 39 year old right back? Young should be a handy squad player to bring off the bench for the last ten minutes of games not a regular. Get KWP in and we'd finally have pace on the right side and a quick covering defender to stop teams breaking on us so we can move ten yards further up the pitch against the lower teams.

Are you forgetting we're currently having to field a 39 year old right back? Young should be a handy squad player to bring off the bench for the last ten minutes of games not a regular. Get KWP in and we'd finally have pace on the right side and a quick covering defender to stop teams breaking on us so we can move ten yards further up the pitch against the lower teams.

He has been operating in a straight jacket, whilst drowning and on fire. But what little opportunities to spend or loan he’s had have brought in some stinkers. And quite of few of them were obviously going to be stinkers.

On balance he’s probably been average.

That’s a fair point but sitting at goodison on Wednesday night watching that side and its subs it was really hard to view the performance of the bloke in charge of recruitment as ‘average ‘ .
