Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Age profile of McAtee, Dewsbury and Nuamah is exactly where we need to be looking.. if we could get them into the squad we immediately increase creativity by about 1000% and Dom could actually resemble a half decent striker for the last 5 months of his Everton career
Almost had me there until you mentioned half decent striker and DCL in the same sentence.

James McAtee - The Salford Silva

Number one pick this window, for me. Left-footed, right-winger. Class at Sheffield U playing alongside Ndiaye. City want £20m for him this month.

Previous academy city sales…Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, Romeo Lavia. I could see McAtee going straight to the top.

Add in Dewsbury Hall on loan and we might actually start passing the ball as well

His contract is up in the summer. And they’ve just spent another £100m on players.

I’d love to see us play actual football for a while. Like that six game period under Ancelotti

Get the cheque book out Danny Boy

Saying that... seems we are back, hot on the press for the wrong reasons ...

Disturbing images and images of bowls of hard boiled eggs. @Eggs what's your sTake on this?

I would pay Chelsea what it takes to make them go away.

Dewsbury-Hall has an undisclosed injury (a knock 25 days and counting) and Chilwell is injury prone. He missed most of 23/24, first with a knee injury and then with a hamstring injury. He also missed a big part of the 22/23 with a hamstring injury, and even more time in 21/22 with a ligament tear.

No more infirmary cases!

"Everton have already used up their full allocation of four loan signings this season"

This guy clearly knows absolutely nothing.
Well he does because you’ve deliberately taken only a snippet to make the journalist look daft whilst ignoring the important part where he goes on to say the idea is to send Broja back, and then use the opening of a loan spot to sign one of the two mentioned. Don’t be a knob.

If you think we could afford the upfront cost it would take to get Fellows out of West Brom in January in a season they are chasing promotion, you are having a laugh.

Why mate, in terms of PSR it doesn't matter whatsoever how the payment structure is arranged.

The restriction we had was due to PSR in part but the structure of say the Beto deal etc was nothing to do with that and everything to actually having zero cash to pay - Moshiri had completely pulled any funding at that point.

So unless the Friedkins are not putting anything in cash wise for transfers then it doesn't matter one bit how we pay.

Erm no. He’s just said we’ve used up our 4 loan slots for the season. We haven’t. We can go as high as 8.

Don’t be a knob.
