Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

I don't see why not .

Did he strke up an understanding with Ndjaye at Sheff utd , I remember Ndjaye and Gustav Hamer running the show for them.

Think we were linked with McAtee when he was there too , he would be an outstanding signing if it happened.
I personally would push the boat out for the lad he's everything we need.
Don't care how low we've sunk, we're still no doubt a very good proposition for most players in world football. Just about the way how the FKG/Moyes are selling the project. New state of the art stadium in an absolute prime area coming up. It's all about surviving in the present.

Please not another false dawn@🙏

I do worry about how easy a sell we are currently to any player of the standard we need.

Are the likes of McAtee going to be salivating about leaving their current club to join up with David Moyes for a relegation battle?

You mean a European cup winning manager who has a history or taking teams battling relegation and turning them into European challenging clubs.

Then theres us who have new owners who the last club they took over turned into a European winning club, then another European final and making a profit. Plus we are just about to move into a brand new state of the art stadium thats perceived to be one of the best in the country.

Theres alot to be positive about with everton and alot to sell to a player over the project.

Unfortunately we just have to concentrate on staying up this season to be able to kick on next

By agree, I meant more that Moyes said in his presser that he'll be relying on Thelwell and our recruitment team for support. They will have gone to him with suggestions and now he'll do what he's does best and dither and dither.

So I meant Moyes will have to agree on some of the suggestions and that will take an age.

But if taking an age avoids the likes of some of our recent signings, is that a bad thing?
