Haven’t seen anything of Chuk, but had a few freebies and watched D-H a couple of times in person. Most obvious trait was doing the basics of controlling and kicking a ball without any thought, which would stand out in our squad of ineptitude. He just looks a very natural player and usually aware of where a challenge is coming from so his first touch buys a bit of space, making him look less rushed. Really like him. Bit of class we simply don’t have.
But to add perspective, he can’t get within a mile of Chelsea’s PL bench. For a manager he’s played really well for a few months before. Slight alarm bells.

Number one pick this window, for me. Left-footed, right-winger. Class at Sheffield U playing alongside Ndiaye. City want £20m for him this month.
Previous academy city sales…Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, Romeo Lavia. I could see McAtee going straight to the top.
Add in Dewsbury Hall on loan and we might actually start passing the ball as well
His contract is up in the summer. And they’ve just spent another £100m on players.

I'm sure we could spunk a few million on players, players who couldn't care where they get a wage. That has that got us where we are. We have a special club here, where it matters that the players need to get the ethos and the dna, the fact that when you put on the shirt.. It actually means something and your to give at least 100%. Moyes gets it, I hope the next players we get in are fully on board, not just passengers on a great wage doing the least they can to get away with...showing up holding the shirt up front to the cameras. The only way we will go down is if we don't get some extra bodies in. It makes sense to try and get some business done in this window as we have our own players potentially leaving for free in the summer. It will be absolute chaos if we leave all that work to do at the end of the season
