That would be an incredible move for JB.

If I'm being honest I'm surprised that he's still with us this season.

…ultimately, I imagine he’ll go where he wants. I’m a little surprised Newcastle aren’t linked, given their weaknesses in that position I’d have thought they’d be interested. Branthwaite is a Carlisle lad, so it might appeal.

Ultimately if Madrid come calling then we need to make sure we get the highest possible offer + a sell on fee & a buyback clause.

The recent injuries are at the back of my mind and while no player is every injury free, it seems odd that hes been out for so long when he was meant to be back nearly 3months ago.

Hopefully he stays.
