Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Waiting until the weekend to see if we win, if we do, were pretty much safe as it's essentially a 10 point difference and there is no chance realistically if being caught, and recruitment isn't as crucial. If we lose, they'll be pressed into action. That's my thought anyway
Don't agree mate very dangerous game to limp on with a squad as thin as ours, look at what has happened at Spurs, even if we have a gap. Also we have that many players out of contract and leaving this summer we need to make a start this window for me. Leaving it all to the summer is asking alot.

We appear to be doing an “Everton “ in this window. How many times are we going to let the window get to its final stages before we decide who it is we want. Once again we have let the clock wind down to the stage where clubs don’t want to lose players as they have no time to replace them or we look desperate and are willing to pay over the odds or buy rubbish. Surely we need to start learning lessons.
If it is the case then one imagines TFG will clean house after the review period.

"We tried" saying that Davey loves a last minute deal, prices do drop and loans do come up late but often it is the dross

I guess we have to give TFG the benefit of the doubt as it’s their first transfer window.

You’d think Thelwell and Moyes with all of their experience would have tried to avoid leaving it late in the window.

If that was TFGs way of looking at it then it would not bode well for our future under their custodianship.

That would be pretty slapdash from TFG. Getting the right deals late in the window is notoriously difficult.

RT is absolutely sweating his back out, refreshing NewsNow likes it's going out of fashion hoping for any sort of positive transfer news.

Pray for @Rooney_Tunes

Yeah not convinced by this lad. Certainly not for instant PL impact. 9 goals in Scotland is ok nothing more. Stick Beto in an Old Firm team against Scottish Prem opponents and he’d be doing much better numbers than that.
No one would be stupid enough to buy him in Scotland, and he wouldn’t even get on the pitch up there.
