No way he is better than Coleman at this time. I just recall the mistakes he made when Coleman was out. Yet, he is young and certainly can improve. ...and Cole,an cant....and will get worse.

Whose good in the Championship that we could potentially be interested in? After all it a tougher league than some in Europe, so must be some interesting players in there; don't always have to look overseas.

Khedira for me was a functional player in good teams. He was never the star of those teams and isn't a player who you bring in to push your team up a level. Now at the age he's at he is even less that player. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Plus our two best midfielders are both out injured because they're 29 years old. We really need to get some younger players in that area of the pitch now that we've got the short term covered.

But we aint spending daft money on a back up midfielder to Allan and Doucoure - and we cant afford to go the season with either Gomes or Davies replacing Allan.

It makes perfect sense as a short term sensible signing.

We aint splashing £40 million on a Soumare/Zakaria to sit on the bench once Allan is fit...

So you still want us to sign a player who has only ever been decent in the championship only now we've seen that he's not great in the PL?

I'm not sure why you're saying it like that is the only option. Look I'm not a scout but I refuse to believe there isn't a single player between age 21 and 25 in the entirety of football who would cost less than 20m that could be a useful option in our midfield.
