Like in 08 or 07 January sitting 4th didn't sign anyone and fell out of European places.

That's just one, I could go on and on though.
Sold McFadden in January '08, and I honestly let myself believe that it was to fund a move for Arshavin.

Won four on the spin (unbeaten in nine) going into a game at Fulham in March, which ended with Lescott up front and a 1-0 defeat.

Only won two more league games the rest of the season.

If the plan was to bring him in as a right back then I’d be more open to it. Coleman and Kenny aren’t good enough.
I'm sure he's very capable of playing on his stronger side. I think it's just been the case that there have been more opportunities at left-back, seeing as though Luke Shaw isn't the most reliable fitness-wise.

Didn’t we get Fernandes back on loan, who had been injured all season. And wasn’t fit u till probably the last 5/6 games.

Portsmouth bought Defoe & a quality midfielder, forgotten his name he’d playerd for Arsenal and Chelsea and Portsmouth sold him a year later to Madrid. They won the cup while we went backwards.

Iike you say this happened a few times. When in good positions in January. Used to frustrate the life out of me. Moyes did a very good job for us, but we were always 2/3 top class Players away from seriously competing

Wasn't Funes Mori a FC Dallas academy product?
Both the Funes Mori twins were very briefly at the FC Dallas academy after Rogelio won the reality show (one funny thing to me, btw, about the Ramiro Funes Mori signing was how everybody kept saying his career started when he won a talent competition, when in fact it was his twin brother who won). I think it was less than six months, then the family moved back to Argentina so the twins could join River's academy.

Amazing, the Bill Kenwright era....

Aye the one Jan when we signed Jelavic and brought back Pienaar we had a real strong finish and should have been in a cup final.

I am sick and tired of crying but when push comes to shove nobody at this club is prepared to take a risk it's a cultural thing at our club.

And Carlo has come out and said we ain’t thinking about signing new players. Obviously things can change and we can criticise Moshiri for lacking ambition.

But with games getting cancelled, there will be a back log and a lot of the teams around us have Europe, this could be a big chance.
I doubt we would let Bernard & tosun leave without at least one replacement.

But if we suffer injuries in The 2nd half Of the season, especially to the likes of DCL, Richarlison, James. And we end up 10th we then probably lose Richarlison and Digne and will need 7 new players in the summer and it’s another rebuilding job.

There is a window of opportunity and I hope we don’t pass it by

And William's is?? He really isn't.
A couple of months seperates him from Ellis Simms and Anthony Gordon, and he has already played 40 times for United. May not be perfect or instantly improve us, but loads of potential and would go straight into the squad. Fast and a snide as well... no problems with it from here
